Absolutely astounded really. It was less than a hour and half to closing time as this store closes at 7.00pm and what bread and rolls etc that is left over gets DONATED to local hostels etc when a lady with only being able to afford a loaf of bread with only $4.00 left in her purse had to put the healthier bread back due to not having the 80 something cents to pay for the loaf but was told she could have a less healthier loaf of bread for only $3.00. My question is why could you not have donated the healthier loaf of bread to the woman seeing there was more than plenty there and seeing it was only going to be DONATED to local hostels or charities after closing time? It would have been no skin off your nose to do that or loss to you but a very big deal and greatly appreciated by the lady I'm sure. I'm only sorry I didn't have the 80 something cents to give the woman or I would have gladly given it to her. Times are bloody tough for those at the moment that are Turnbull welfare recipients. Georgie.
